Responsibilities of the Postgraduate Department

The Postgraduate Department is a functional department responsible for the HYIT’s postgraduate admission, education, degree management and application for Master degree granting authorization.

1. Formulate and implement development plans as well as relevant rules and regulations for HYIT’s academic degree and postgraduate education.

2. Handle postgraduate admission, examination, enrollment and career guidance.

3. Graduate students education and management.

4. Graduate student status management, thesis defense, graduation qualification check, degree granting, degree thesis appraisal and spot check.

5. Graduate education quality monitoring and supervision.

6. Degree granting program application, construction and assessment; selection and assessment for Master’s supervisors; guide the “dual supervisors” team construction in HYIT

7. Application and management of postgraduate education innovation projects.

8. Organize relevant faculties to develop practical education bases for postgraduates.

9. Complete other tasks assigned by leaders.
